Modification kits conceived to:
• Retrofit the current inventory of  A244/s torpedoes and 
  achieve a cost-effective SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION of 
  the torpedo weapon system
• Update the torpedo capabilities to counter modern and future 
  submarines
• To be fully compatible with any existing A244/s torpedo 
  launching system installed on the platforms

The Technological upgrading
• Replace the TTL/CMOS technology with modern micropro-
  cessor technology in order to:
    - Reprove obsolescences
    - Increase weapon reliability
    - Extend the torpedo service life

• Use of new exercise heads based on the inflatable collar 
  technology and solid state memory technology in order to:
    - Improve exercise torpedo reliability
    - Remove obsolescent optical data recording
    - Achieve automatic post-firing data analysis and
      trajectory plots
