HYBRID SIMULATORS (DCNS/WASS)
This tool was developed for the validation of the MU90 torpedo software during the development phase.
Main highlights of the hybrid simulator: • Allows the verification of the correct functioning of the Acoustic Section • Allows the evaluation / optimisation of the torpedo behaviour in different scenarios • Reduces the cost and the risk associated to the validation of the torpedo software upgrade
ORACOM (WASS)
Of modular architecture, the ORACOM is a sophisticated simulation software aimed to operational evaluation of ASW weapons. The system allows to create a huge number of different environments, establishes the parameters for the launching platforms, the torpedoes (LWT or HWT), the targets and the anti-torpedo systems embarked on the targets.
The environment is defined through a vast number of physical and acoustic parameters.
The launching platform module allows to create a vast number of type of platforms (surface, air or submerged) physically and dynamically defined.
Multiple LWT (or HWT) can be simultaneously simulated by embedded full scale torpedo models or new torpedo created by parameters. The targets (surface or submerged) can be reproduced with a wide selection of parameters.
TETA (WASS)
TETA3 Simulator is a software package for ASW Operational Research and Ashore ASW Training for both the Mod.1 and Mod.3 A244/S torpedoes, based on: • Statistical evaluation of the A244/S Mod.1 and Mod.3 torpedo performances, and • Analysis of the A244/S Mod.1 and Mod.3 torpedo behaviour during the simulated sea runs
TETA3 Simulator is an evolution of the application software installed on the TETA machine (the simulation system formerly developed by WASS for the A244/S Mod.1 torpedo) which includes the simulation of the A244/S Mod.3 torpedo.
Therefore TETA3 is a software application for the simulation of both the A244/S Mod.1 and Mod.3 torpedoes, according to different launching modes, in various operational scenarios, that includes simulation of: • Submarine target • Acoustic countermeasures systems • Underwater environmental conditions
SIMOP (Simulateur Opérationnel)
SIMOP (Simulateur Opérationnel) is an advanced Torpedo simulation test bed; it is mainly aimed to the development, validation and verification of the behaviour of a torpedo system. It allows entering deeply inside the brain of a torpedo system, modifying logic, thresholds, kinetic, etc, in order to identify the means and requirement to achieve a specific operational need.
